Tamati and Sam Are Firewise
The Leopards worked together in reading time today to create this story to show how Tamati and Sam are Firewise.
Some of the children recorded the story using the iPod touch app "Storyrobe".
Here is the story on PhotoPeach.

The Rodney Library Road Show
We had a visit from Anne and Nicky from the Warkworth and Mahurangi Libraries today.
It was fun helping them to act out their stories. Look at our video to see some of the things we got up to.

"Smile!" - a new story from an old story
"Smile!" said Ms Donnell on PhotoPeach
We've been reading "Smile!" said Dad by Jane Buxton. We have made a story about us, using Jane Buxton's ideas.

Mayor Penny's Reading Challenge
Welcome back everyone.
This is our first blog post for Term 2.
We have been very busy and have lots of things to blog about but today Ms Donnell wants to tell everyone that she is taking up the Mayor's challenge.
She is going to read to Room 2 for half an hour a day for every school day in the month of May. She started on Friday and is looking forward to having an excuse to read lots of books. She is going to try to find books that relate to our topic: Ocean Life.
