Dear Rm 2
What a great way to spend the day.
How far do you have to travel to get to Martins Bay?
We are a long way from the sea, and would have to travel for an hour to get to a beach!

We have house teams in our school too. We have 2 houses called Mawhera and Kawatiri. We have lots of competitions during the year, and at the end of the year the house with the most points wins a cup!

What was your favourite part of the day at Martins Bay?

Dear Mrs McKenzie and Class B4,
Yes, we love our picnic day.
It takes us about 35 or 40 minutes to get to the beach of Martins Bay.
The swim was the favourite day for most people. Some people liked other things best.

What a wonderful way to spend a day at school. It looks as though you were all working and playing together so well. Your teachers would have been so proud of you.We have a lovely beach not far from our school and we take all our pupils there by bus each year (over 400 of us. Our beach is called Rabbit Island. Is there lots of shells on your beach to decorate the sand castles?
